Fleming Merritt married Nancy Ann Magaan in Virginia. They came to Nashville TN then into Smith County, TN then into Jackson County (the part that became Clay Co.) After Fleming died, they all went to Missouri. Elizabeth Ann Merritt, the Widow Mrs. James Kitchin) was my great great grandfather's third wife and they were married in the Little Trace Church of Christ (now in Clay co) in 1853. I have the written Memoirs of their son, Paris Clark Martin. b 1857. Using his Memoirs as a tool, I have found out much about his Merritt Grandparents. would love to share. *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice.
