Am still searching for ANY info on Solomon Bowlin/Boling etc who married Sarah Walker pre-Civil War. Had 2 children, Mary Elizabeth Bowlin & Levi H. Bowlin. Solomon died in Nashville during the CW of smallpox. Sarah, his widow, remarried to John Oliver, lived in Grundy/Marion Co TN. We think Solomon could be a grandson of Temperance. According to his wife's pension application papers, neighbors were Nunley, Woodlee, Walker, etc in Warren Co, TN along the Collins River. We think Sarah's father was James Walker, poss son of Jeremiah Walker. Any leads appreciated. Due to being on a walker, waiting on a hip replacment (Feb) I have been unable to travel to Warren Co and would truly love to find a lead on our elusive Solomon. Last found on 1860 census of Warren Co with wife Sarah & dau Elizabeth, then in his CW papers. Nothing prior to 1860. HELP.
