Hello Fellow List Members: Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Could someone with access to the 1880 & 1890 White County or Warren County Censuses please do a lookup for me? I'm looking for the family of Joel and Sarah Ann DOUGLAS. ** Note: Joel may be listed as Prate or Prater Douglas on the census. Of particular interest are: 1. The children's names listed on the 1880 census. I'm curious to see if 2 children from a prior marriage of Joel (Prater?) are living in the household. One child would be ~11 yrs. and the other ~8 yrs. old. and... 2. All children's names and ages listed on the 1890 census. I have several children in my files with the first name "Unknown" who were born 1881 and later. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, Gary in Oregon

In 1865 Joicy moved with several grown members of her family to Texas by boat. She died in Graham, Texas in 1905 at age 92. Joicy is my ggg grandmother from Williamsom Stringer. This woman lived a very interesting life. Let me know if we have a Burkhalter connection. Barbara
Hi Karen I'm still waiting for my copy of the Warren Co Book. (I moved and they must have used my old address). Anyway, I submitted the article on Richard P. Burks who married two Paris sisters, both daughters of Thomas Paris and Sarah Jay. If those names sound familiar, please contact me. Glad to share what I can. Sue Wright Georgetown, TX

Received the beautiful Warren County History Book and want to thank all of those who worked on it so hard. It is a great volume of history. During my first scan through the book I noticed several articles submitted by people I would love to contact. How do I make contact with these people or get my name and address to them? Surnames: Faulkner, Burkhalter, Bonner, Cooksey and others I may not have documented yet.
