There was a Martin family living in Warren County TN and it is interesting to note that the Lowry Creek of the 1820s became Martins Creek by the 1850s. Many of that family (Martins) are members of Smyrna Church of Christ in 1857: Moses, Andrew W, Charles, Lawson, Noah, Elizabeth, Ann, Penicaty. In 1850 Warren County TN living next to William and Abenida Lowry is Jessee Martin, age 43, farmer, land value $5,000, born in TN, wife Adaline A 37 NC, and children William R 20 TN, Martha P 14, Mary A 13, Harriet 10, Fletcher B 3, Julia L 1. In 1850 Warren County TN, there are other Martin families: can anyone help with this? *************************************************************************** This is an automatically-generated notice. Dear List, Can anybody out there identify the David A. Markum (age, between 30 & 40) that shows on pg. 301, Line 12 of the 1830 Warren Co. TN census? He is next door to a Jackson Bullin (age, between 30 & 40), who I think may actually be Jackson Pullen. If I am correct, Jackson is a brother-in-law to David Markum as David is married to Elizabeth Pullen, sister to Jackson. (this is NOT proven: it is just my thoughts). Anyway, if you know who David A. Markum or Jackson Bullin/Pullen may be, I would certainly be interested in exchanging information. Regards, Judy in TX
