    1. [TNWARREN] Location of Church of Christ in Warren Co. 1880?
    2. Hello to the list, I have a little mystery that I was hoping someone may be able to help me out on. I have it from family that my ggGrandparents James "Monroe" CASH b. 1826 Roane Co. TN and Sarah "Emiline" FORD b. 1826 TN were apart of the Church of Christ. They went from East TN to Warren Co. TN by the 1870's and are listed there 1880 and Monroe in 1900 w/ his daughter Magdaline Cash-WEBB. From what I have been told by knowledgable people, they were North West of McMinnville near Yager. My question is: WHERE WOULD THEY HAVE GONE TO A CHURCH OF CHRIST IF THEY WERE IN THE AREA OF YAGER? Is there one which was in existance in this area 1870-1900 and what was the name? Some of the family(WEBB's and others) were buried in Bethlehem Cemetery across from a Presbyterian Church. Was this at one time a Church of Christ? I would love to hear from anyone familiar with the area and who might have any clues to my little mystery. Their son William(my gGrandfather) went to Texas by 1880 so alot is not known by our family about the Warren Co. group. Thank You and hope to hear, Chris Cash

    1. [TNWARREN] Hicks
    2. I am looking for information on the early Hicks families of Warren Co. and perhaps DeKalb or White. My particular line is William Hicks md to Sarah Magness, early 1800's. The 1850 census shows them with son Abram and his family; and sons John C. and Benjamin F. The 1880 census shows Sarah living with daughter Rebecca Scott in DeKalb Co. I have been unable to find Rebecca's husband. I know there were other children for William and Sarah according to the 1830 census Warren Co. I haven't located them in the 1840 census. The 1850 census of DeKalb shows at least a Josiah Hicks and an Alfred Hicks. Warren Co. has other Hicks men also. I have been unable to find family for William and where he is from. Any help would be much appreciated. I am also searching in these counties, WEBB, MARSH, HUGHES, JONES, ELLIS, BRATCHER, ROBERTS, and related families such as Rowland, Stembridge, Cantrell, etc. I am very happy to share information. Thank you, Marla Goodrich

    1. [TNWARREN] Warren Co. TN photographers from 1880 census.
    2. MarieClassof86
    3. Looking over the 1880 Census of Warren Co. TN I have noticed that there were at least three persons who listed their profession as photographers. There names were J. Fletch Woodard(age 42) Lavater Woodard(age 19) C. W. Prior(age 60) None of these are in my research but having lines which were in Warren Co. TN during that time period caused me to wonder if any of these photographers had a studio and if so what became of their work. --Marie Beckman _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
