I am looking for any kind of records of either Henry Randolph, who died in McMinnville on July 27, 1836, and is buried in the Liberty Cemetery, or his son, Anderson Randolph, who was born in McMinnville on February 26, 1826 and died there on January 11, 1889, and is also buried in the Liberty Cemetery. Any records as to purchases and sales of real estate would be helpful. Thanks.
I am looking for the obituary of Anderson Randolph, who died on January 11, 1889 in McMinnivlle, and is buried in the Liberty Cemetery there. I have heard there is one, but haven't been able to find it.

I'm looking for information on John Tanner and wife Mattie. I have absolutely nothing on this couple except that they had 3 sons. They probably had more children. The sons' names are James Wilson Tanner, Albert Justin Tanner, and Andrew Tanner. If anybody can shed any light, please email me!! R. Estes
Clay, I found a Jessie M. Tanner on Page 193 of Warren County Cemetery - Book 3 that may be the one you are looking for. The cemetery is Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Apparently, this is a very big cemetery. TANNER, Jessie M. 1909-23 May 1985 [Jessie Mai, daughter of W. M. and Maggie (Summers) Campbell, wife of Thomas Ransom Tanner.] TANNER, Ransom. 10 Mar 1905 - 10 Jun 1957. [Thomas Ransom, son of Will Mason and Tilda (Bynum) Tanner, husband of Jessie Mai Campbell.] TANNER, Mason 1933 - 31 Aug 1993. [Thomas Mason, son of Thomas Ransom and Jessie Mae (Campbell) Tanner, husband of Geraldine Jordan.] Also listed is a Will Tanner who may be Ransom's father, or brother, and his third wife Mary Byrd Tanner. I hope this helps. I know that TN didn't require keeping Death Records until about 1908 Can anyone tell me if there are any resources for Warren Co. TN for around April of 1906. My Gr gr gr grandmother Eliza Adeline Elzey Hale died about that time. She was living with her son John N. Hale in Warren Co. in the 1900 Census. She was in Van Buren Co. TN in 1850 & 1880. --MarieB-)

Hello everyone I apologize if anyone gets two copies of this but am sending it to both the Van Buren Co. TN & Warren Co. TN list as it involves both counties. Does anyone know if the Charles Hale in the Van Buren Co. TN 1900 Census on page 2a household # 21 is the Charles Hale, the son of Wm. P. Hale and Nancy A. Hitchcock. 1900 Van Buren Co. TN Dist # 1 Page 2A Household #21 Charles Hale head W M Sept 1874 M 2 TN TN TN Farmer Sallie Hale wife W F Feb 1878 M 2 (1 of 1 Children alive) TN TN TN Willis Hale Son W M June 1898 1 TN TN TN My Great Grandmother, Emma Frances Hale Acuff, Daughter of Wm. P. & Nancy A. Hale is living several houses away(household # 28) from the above Charles. I've never seen any indication that Charles was married or had any children. He is not listed as living in his Dad's household in the 4th Civil Dist of Warren Co. TN in 1900. One note of interest both households live near Rowland/Roland families. There is no Charles Hale in 1910 Van Buren Co. TN's 1st Dist. In 1920 Census I found the following. 1920 Warren Co. TN Dist 3 E.D. 127 Pg 61B Sheet 2B Household 41 Charles Hale Head M W 47 Married TN TN TN Farmer Maud Hale Wife F W 38 Married TN TN TN James Rutledge Stepson M W 6 Single TN TN TN Information extracted from the obit of Charles in the Southern Standard shows as follows Charles F. TN) Died: May 9, 1956 Magness Home Parents: William P. & Nancy Armenda Hitchcock Hale Survivors: Sister--Mrs. Gladys Lewallen, Wildwood, GA (believe this is an error and that Gladys is actually Glatha Hillis Lewallyn, Charles' niece & daughter of Charles' sister America who married Lee Hillis) Nieces & Nephews.
