    1. [TNWARREN] Warren County Heritage Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 25th
    2. Don & Becky Mills
    3. Announcing a new book about Warren County is in the making! Titled "The Heritage of Warren County, TN -2004" the new collector's edition book will highlight stories and photos of Warren County People, places and events and is set for publication in early 2004. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25th at 7:00 PM in the basement conference room of the County Annex building, 201 Locust St., McMinnville. Drive into the road on the r.h. side of the building, pass the "drive-thru window" and continue down to the rear. The conference room entrance is the only door on that level. Come on in and join us as we preserve our Warren County Heritage and History! All are urged to attend! A sample of the White County Heritage book may be seen at the Library in McMinnville. Joe McPeak, Chairman of the Book Committee says "Our Warren County Heritage book promises to be even bigger and better than White County's volume printed in 1999." See you on the 25th of Feb. at 7 PM.. Help us preserve our Warren County Heritage! For more details, contact Joe McPeak (931) 815- 2938, or you may e-mail us at:: [email protected] Don & Becky Mills

    3. I know this is a very long shot, but here goes. President Andrew Johnson b. 1808 Raleigh, NC d. 1875 Elizabethton, TN b. Greene Co., TN s/o Jacob Johnson b. 1778 Forks of the Delaware, PA, Revolutionary War veteran, lived in Virginia, granted land in Greene Co., TN. I do not know anything about Andrew's brother William, except he left Greene county. Jacob could also have had a brother William. Good Hunting Patti

    3. Betty, Thank you, yes I was aware of them and they are related to Redmon. There are some who state Redmon had a brother Archibald, unfortunately they are not able to provide any documentation for any Archibald born in that time frame. There are numerous descendants who have tried to unravel the mystic of Redmon, then there are some who blindly copy other work and vow it is true. Some have named his wife, again without any documentation which is merely conjecture. Thank you so much for your input and time. Patti
