Phoebe Catherine Morton was the daughter of George Washington Morton and Margaret Lewis. Phoebe is buried in Lewis-Butcher Cemetery. She died Feb 9, 1933. I have her married to: James Helms, Richard Crawford and Lafayette Turner. The marriage to Lafayette took place after 1902. He is buried in the same cemetery as Phoebe, so thinking he was spouse 3. Phoebe's grandparents were David Morton and Nancy Catherine James and Jesse Lewis and Mary Y. Polly Thompson. Not much else I can share. Hope this helps. Phoebe is probably the same person shown as Feda C. Helms. The entry on Find A Grave matches Phoebe's date of death however the dates of birth do not match Phoebe's death cert. The memorial dates agree with those listed in Footprints 2000.
