MAYNARD, JEAN STINER - age 87, passed from this life on April 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Cynthia Maynard; parents, Harley and Lillian Stiner; brothers, Hugh D. Stiner and Max E. Stiner, and sister, Juanita Stiner Marchant. She is survived by devoted son, Steven Maynard; sisters and brothers-in-law, David and Ann Schultz, Earl and Kate McCulloch; several cousins, nieces and nephews. A life-long teacher, she obtained her undergraduate degree from Carson-Newman College and M.S from the University of Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 26, 2009 at The Seventh Day Church of God, 6714G Central Ave. Pike, Knoxville, TN., I-75 at Callahan Rd.
