SHOPE, JAN CARSON - age 49, of Maynardville, born August 3, 1959 and passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Preceded in death by: parents, John A. and Marie Shope; brothers, James Allen and Clyde Shope; sister, Marianne. He is survived by: daughters, Ashley, Autumn, April all of Maynardville; former wife, Francis Shope; sisters, Patsy Bailey, Carolyn Wilkerson, Darlene Collins, and Teresa Shope; brothers, John A, Jr., Billy, A.G., Tommy, and David; several nieces, and nephews; one very special niece, Angie Shope. Family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2009 with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Cooke Mortuary. Reverend Vaughn Richardson, and Reverend Charles Warwick officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cooke Mortuary Tuesday, and proceed to Oak Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel for 10:00 a.m. interment.
