WIDENER, DAVID WARREN - 61 of Luttrell passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Richard Widener, Sr.; brother, Terry Widener; great niece, Melody Taylor. Survived by son, David Edward Widener; daughter, Margaret Jane Hopkins; four grandchildren; brothers and wives, Richard and Brenda Widener, Jr., Joe and Freida Widener; sisters, Connie Mathews, Jennie Widener; sister-in-law, Terisa Widener; several nieces and nephews and friend, Sue Ogle. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday, Fielden Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Wayne Grubb and Rev. Roy Acuff officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Saturday, Rutledge Pike Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.
