His mother was Louisa J. Heatherly. John Harvey and Louisa had 8 children. Sarah Elizabeth Stiner; Mary S. Stiner; Catherine Malissa Stiner; Elia Jane Stiner; Rhoda T. Stiner; Caldona Stiner Wm. Eli Stiner; James Preston "Big Mutt" Stiner. After Louisa's death he remarried and had two more children: Sherman V. Stiner and Hassie L. Stiner. There are two John Harvey Stiners...John Harvey had a nephew that was named John Harvey and many people confuse the two. Hope this helps you a bit.
