I am decended from Ambrose Sharp as well through Calvin Sharp, Cyrus Ambrose Sharp, and Shirley Lynn Sharp Bowden. I have not been able to find out any information about Ambrose's parents. I have submitted a DNA sample of my mother's first cousin (male) to www.familytreedna.com in the hopes of finding a close male relation that might give me some clues as to his parentage.
