SHELBY, HAZEL EUNICE - age 89 of New Tazewell, TN was born December 20, 1919 and passed away June 30, 2009 at the Laurel Manor Healthcare. She was a lifelong member of the Little Barren Church. She is preceded in death by her parents: Isaac and Ollie Smith; husband of 62 years: Ruble Shelby; son: Darrell Shelby; sister-in-law: Illadene Pack; eight sisters. She is survived by her daughters: Carol Fannon of Tazewell, TN, Jean Conner and husband Rick of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren: Kayla and Roger Shelby of Harrogate, TN; daughter-in-law: Traci Brooks of Harrogate, TN; brother-in-law: Bobbie Pack of Norwalk, OH; step-grandchildren: Jeff Fannon, David Fannon, Kimberly Parton, Denise Harness; four step-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; special friend: Maude Anna Green and her Laurel Manor family. Family will receive friends Friday, July 3, 2009 from 5 until 7PM at Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7PM in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Reggie Large and Reverend L.B. Herrell officiating. Music will be provided by the Little Barren Choir. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, July 4 at 10AM in the Stiner Cemetery.
