Mother was Elizabeth Miller Anderson, daughter of Emanuel and Rachel Poindexter Miller. She left them in TN and went back to IN abt 1870. Something happened between Elizabeth and her husband, Henry Anderson, in that Henry was no longer in the picture by 1860. My gr grandfather claimed Martin Anderson as a half brother. Story goes that a half brother was raised in TN near cumberland Gap by an uncle. Would love to solve this puzzle. I do believe that Martin was the half brother as diabetis runs rampant in what I believe is the Miller line. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks. Paula, I have no info on Martha or Mary however I also connect to this Miller line, descendants of Martin Luther & Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Giddens Miller. I recently found Elizabeth Miller Anderson's brother Martin V. Miller's obit and Indiana burial location. We are still looking for his wife, Amanda Jane (Mandy) Nash Miller's whereabouts after his death. I would be interested in sharing info on Emanuel's family.
