WAGGONER, MICHAEL L. "MIKEY" - age 54 of Powell passed away suddenly May 12, 2009 at his home. Preceded in death by grandparents, Herbert and Trula Cox; Manford and Hettie Waggoner. Survivors: parents, Clayton and Anna Waggoner; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Jim Hunter; nephew, Brent Hunter; a host of family & friends; special pet, Tiger. He was always happy, smiling and never knew a stranger. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed Nascar, Fulton Falcons, UT sports and especially the Lady Vols basketball team. He was a News Sentinel carrier for many years and a score keeper at Winona-Caswell Park for 35 years. Funeral services Friday, 8 pm, Mynatt Funeral Home-Halls Chapel with Rev. Terry West & Rev. Mike Viles officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, 10:15 am at the funeral home to proceed to Milan Cemetery for interment services at 11 am.
