    3. TOLIVER, CARSON WYLIE (RED) - age 83 of Maynardville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. after a short illness. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Dessie (East- ridge) Toliver; son, Bobby Joe Toliver; mother, Agnes Hansard Toliver; father, Charles Toliver; sisters, Lillian and Mima Jane; brothers, Haywood and Charles; granddaughter, Sandra Reagan. He served in The U.S. Army and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Woodward Masonic Lodge, Kerbella Shriner Temple and the 798 Pipeliners of Tulsa Oklahoma. He is survived by granddaughter and husband, Jeanette and Jim Needham; adopted daughter, Doris Graves and husband Coy; grandchildren, Debbie and Rev. J.R. McMahan, Colleen and Denny Beeler, Robbie and Melissa Graves, Jack and Lynn Reagan; brothers, Jim, Teddy Joe and Herbert; sisters, Lib, Willie and Nancy as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by everyone, especially his bluegrass buddies. The family will receive friends at Ailor Mortuary in Maynardville from 6-8 p.m. Friday with the funeral following at 8 p.m, Rev. J.R. McMahan and Teddy Joe Tolliver officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Monroe Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by Tri County Veterans Honor Guard. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville in charge of arrangements.
