He had retired from Ford Motor Company after 21 years of service. He is preceded in death by his: Wife: Wanda Vandetta Brantley, Son: Fredrick James Brantley, Parents: Fred Johnson and Virgie Braden, Brothers: Doyle Braden, Wade Braden and Larry Braden, Nephew: Larry Braden II. He is survived by his: Sons: Lowell Carson Brantley, Gary Thomas Brantley and wife Ozella, Onis Brantley, Jr., Brother: Lloyd Braden, Half sister: Linda Johnson. Eight Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. The family received friends Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6 until 8 PM at Claiborne Funeral Home. Funeral services were Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10 AM in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Braden and Rev. James Strunk officiating. Burial followed in the Blue Springs Cemetery at Sharps Chapel, TN.
