DYER, MR. ROY C. - age 72, of Powder Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was a member of Mt. Eager Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father. H.O. (Billy) Dyer; mother, Gladys M. Dyer; grandchild, Jacob Andrew Dyer. Survivors: wife, Vickie Dyer; son, Rodney C. Dyer; grandchildren, Alyson Dyer and Ethan Tyler Dyer. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m., Ailor Chapel, Rev. Gary Donahue and Rev. Ford Thomas officiating. Music will be by Tammy Nicley. Pallbearers will be Donald Bowers, Dennis Dyer, Jack Hickle, Bill Sexton, David Nicley and Brad Nicley. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Dyer Cemetery.
