The 1900 Grainger County census does say Laura has 7 children, but that only 1 is living. It also says she has been married 18 years, which indicates she is still married to John Mason. They are listed in Tennessee marriages as being married October 18, 1878. I'll see if I can find anything else. Hope this helps.
