MARLOWE, SARAH ALICE ADKINS - age 82, of Knoxville, formerly of Manchester, TN., passed away suddenly Friday morning, June 19, 2009. Alice was retired from Home Health nurse. Preceded in death by: parents, Gordon and Belva Lea Adkins; brothers, Kenneth and E.L. Adkins; sister, Mable McBee; granddaughter, Laura Petree. Survivors: husband, George Marlowe; daughters, Joy and husband Curtis Petree of Maynardville, Kim and husband, Eugene Nichol of Knoxville; grandchildren, Sarah Petree, Paul Sosa, Cody Nichol; great grandchildren, Kelley Sosa, and Jorianna Sosa. Family will receive friends 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, with funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel at Cooke Mortuary. Reverend Dennis Blazier officiating.
