BROCK, BOYCE B. - age 65, of Maynardville, passed away 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Boyce was of Baptist faith and proudly served in the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by: parents, Lester and Amanda Brock; brothers, L.J., Boyd Ray, Buddy, Buford, and Billy; sisters, Jean Treadway, and Birdia Brock; nephew, Johnny Brock. Survivors: wife, Glenda; brothers, Bobby, Bruce and wife Charlene; Joe Brock; sisters-in-law, Inus and Diane Brock, Brenda and husband Danny Sweet; brother-in-law, Harvey Treadway; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Virgil and Deanna Crawford; two nieces, seven nephews, and twelve great nieces and nephews. The family sends a special "Thank you" to the caring and loving staff at U. T Cancer Institute and Caris Healthcare. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Cooke Mortuary. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Cooke Chapel. Reverend Richard Nicely and Reverend Jimmy Nicely officiating. Interment Pleasant View Cemetery. Military honors conducted by Tri County Veterans Honor Guard. Music by Richard and Linda Nicely.
