BEATTY, SHARON (MCDANIEL) - age 61, of Maynardville, TN, entered her heavenly home Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the home of her sister Charlene. Sharon was a cancer patient and fought a courageous fight. Sharon was a dependable and loving caregiver by trade and was wonderful in her job capacity. Her patients loved her. She loved music and was part of The Silver Wings with brother-in-law, Jim Sedan. Sharon had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing bingo. She also enjoyed traveling and lived in the states of Arizona, and Indiana. Some of the cites she lived in were Kokomo, Tucson, and Phoenix. Sharon was a member of Luttrell Baptist Church. She was noted for saying, "I have traveled all over this country, but the best part of my journey is when I cross over". Preceded in death by: parents, Jesse Virgil and Velma (Harlass) McDaniel; grandmother, Cornnie McDaniel of Luttrell; brother, Billy McDaniel of Kokomo, IN. Survivors; daughters, Sheila Williams of Kokomo, IN, Dee Dee Williams of Tucson, AZ, Lori Henley of Phoenix, AZ; son, Jesse Nelson of Tucson, AZ; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn and Herb Paul, Dorothy and Jim Sedan; sisters-in-law, Margie McDaniel of Kokomo, IN, Charlene and Dono Butler of Knoxville, Marcella Tefft of Luttrell; numerous other relatives; special friends, include Patty Duke, Emily Burnett, Mary Kate Franklin, Emmie Inkabrger, and Andy Savage. Special thanks to Amedisy Hospice Services for their wonderful care and support. Family will receive friends 4 to 7:30 Monday, June 15, 2009, with funeral service to follow at 7:30 in Cooke chapel. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cooke Mortuary, and proceed to Washam Duke Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
