BEGLEY, REVEREND CHESTER - age 75, of Sharps Chapel, formerly of Whitesburg, KY, passed away early Friday morning, August 28, 2009 at his home. Chester was founder and pastor of The Little Brown Church. Preceded in death by: wife, Lettie Sexton Begley; parents, Gillis and Belle Begley; grandson, Jamie Kiser; daughter-in-law, Michelle Williams Begley; brothers, Marion and Cecil Begley. Survivors: sons, Chester Wayne and wife Rena, Jeffrey Allen; daughters, Delana Kay and husband Ronnie Kiser all of Sharps Chapel, Devona and husband Tom Buckner of Halls; grandchildren, Tommy, Tyler, and Todd Begley, Daniel Buckner, Tammy Amburgey, Jessica Mason, Brandy Osborne; eight great grandchildren; brothers, Thurman, Ray, Leonard all of Whitesburg, KY; sisters, Wilma Fields, Athalene Parker, Edith White, Phyllis Combs, Kathy Parker, Shirley Fleming all of Whitesburg, KY, Lilly Mae Garrison of Sharps Chapel, Frances Honeycutt of Lexington, KY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friend's 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. in Cooke Chapel. Reverend Ray Begley and Tommy Begley officiating.
