William Henry "Station Bill" Sharp was born Jul 1783 in Botetourt Co. VA. He died 25 Jun 1862 in Sharp's Chapel, Union Co. TN. Rachel Stiner was born in 1783, also believed in Botetourt Co. VA, and died 1 Jan 1823 in Union Co. TN. Bill and Rachel were parents to eight children: Jane Sharp (4 Feb 1804-27 May 1843) married John E. Irwin. children: Francis, William, George, Edward, Calaway, Caswell, Louisa and Lucy Irwin. Lucinda Sharp (1807-1842) married Jacob Miller. children: William, Martha, Alfred, Louisa Jane and Nancy Elizabeth Miller. Alford Sharp (25 Feb 1809-20 Dec 1876) married Elizabeth Loy, daugther of John William Loy and Nancy Miller. children: Nancy, Jacob Loy, Caswell C., William C., Jane, James, Parlia, Rachel Irene, Alfred B. and Lewis Miller Sharp. *Alford and Elizabeth Sharp were my 3rd great-grandparents. Rachel Irene Sharp was my 2nd great grandmother.* Louisa Sharp (1811-?) married Jacob Loy. Caswell Sharp (1815-1892) married Hannah B. Duke and Nancy Lovell. Only one known child, Louisa J. Sharp, who was Hannah's daughter. William Hamilton Sharp (20 Jan 1820-20 Mar 1900) married Mary Ann Baker. children: Elizabeth, Parley, Sarah, Orlena, Henry, Isaac F., Louisa and Rebecca Sharp. Eli Sharp (1821-1915) married Cyntha Miller. children: Lucy, Rufus, Pharoh H., Frederick, Nancy, Catherine and William Sharp. Orleana Sharp (1 Jan 1823-14 Aug 1900) married Alvis Craig. children: Elizabeth, Pharoah, William, Louisa Jane, McHenry, Reuben, John C., Nancy, Mary, Lucy, Parlia and Sarah Craig. I have further information on some of these lines, and will be glad to share information with you.
