The Pellissippi Genealogy & Historical Society will meet at the Clinton TN Public Library, Thursday January 27th at 7PM.   Our featured speaker will be Cherel Henderson **, director of the East Tennessee Historical Society in Knoxville.   Her discussion will be "Early Tennessee History - From Wautauga to the State of Franklin to Statehood". Visitors are welcome! ** Cherel B. Henderson is director of the East Tennessee Historical Society in Knoxville ,  founding director of the ETHS family heritage program, “First Families of Tennessee,” and editor of the FFT book as well as the ETHS genealogy magazine Tennessee Ancestors .  She has published several books of tombstone and census transcriptions.
