Nioma Atkins Nicely: who was her mother, who was Mr. Nicely, and when in the 1940's did she die? I know that her dad was married several times, so I am not sure where this daughter fits in. I've been reading the book about Chester Burton Atkins "Chet", who's descended from the same Atkins family I am (although the book leaves out his grandfather Sylvester's first wife & 6 kids--was it politcally incorrect to be the father of 12 children when the book was written so the author thought it appropriate to completely leave out the mention of the first wife & kids?), and I used to correspond with his dad, many, many years ago.
