Dear List, I have a copy of the 1851 will of George Johnson of Union Co. TN. However, there is no information on this transcribed will to determine if it was filed in Union County. There is also no info when the will was proven, and where it was proven. Would anybody have those tidbits of information? Many thanks, Judy in TX

Gosh, I have so many George Johnson's in my database. The only one that I have that comes close is George Johnson, Sr. married to Nancy Bruckner. George, according to my information, died Jan. 18, 1852 in Union County, TN. He was the son of George Presley Johnson, son of James Johnson, Jr., James Johnson, Sr., Benjamin, William, Edmund Johnson. George Johnson was my 4th great grandfather, but I do not have a will for him.
