Just received these today and thought I'd pass along to all the Union County Ridenour and Warwick researchers. Nina MORTON T. RIDENOUR, MR. LESTER R. - age 85, of LaFollette "Demory" Community, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 1999 at The LaFollette Medical Center. He was a member of Demory Baptist Church. Mr. Ridenour was a good husband, father and hospital volunteer. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from International Harvester. Mr. Ridenour was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Alex and Ida Mae Walker Ridenour; brother, Lawrence Ridenour and two sisters, Pearl Patterson and Della Pyle. He is survived by his wife, Pernie Esta Cooper Ridenour of LaFollette; son and daughter-in-law, Roger Lester and Joan Ridenour of Plainfield, Indiana; two nephews, Alan and Fred Pyle of Haskel, TN and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at Demory Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Siler, Rev. Everett Cooper and Rev. Conley Shepherd officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette. WARWICK, GEORGIA C. - 89, of Andersonville, died Thursday, April 15, 1999 at The Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Andersonville. Mrs. Warwick was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Ross DeMarcus and Martha Hutchison DeMarcus; husband, Lawrence F. Warwick; sisters, Willie E. Warwick and Lucy Ezell and by one brother, Fred DeMarcus. She is survived by two sons, Robert Warwick and wife, Lois and Venturia Warwick and his wife, Darlene, all of Andersonville. She is survived by four daughters, Bernice Warwick of Norris, Marjorie Unthank and her husband, David, of New Lisbon, IN, Fay Emmett and her husband, David, of Halls, Patsy Buchanan and her husband, Pete, of Powell. Mrs. Warwick is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, April 16, 1999 from 6-8 p.m. at The Anderson County Funeral Home with the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 1999 in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Andersonville with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating. Arrangements by Anderson County Funeral Home, Clinton.
