Hi again, In the book "Anderson County History" by Hoskins, there is a reference to "The Coal Creek Coal Company" organized in 1887 by E. C. Camp, S. P. Evans, Charles McKarsie, and E. M. Camp. My great grandfather, Solomon Peter EVANS lived on the Union Co. / Anderson Co. border at that time. Does anybody have details on "The Coal Creek Coal Company" and the identity of this S. P. Evans?
