Chip.....I must also be a crazy because I agree with you. The biggest problems we are going to have going into the year 2000 - are panic and rip-offs. I have always kept 3 months supply of food (not in the freezer either), water, batteries and all emergency equipment. I lived in Florida and now Texas coast. I have done this for twenty five years and only needed them once. This is all I will have when we shout Happy New Year! 2000. I have already had someone call pretending to be from my bank. They wanted to make sure they had my bank account numbers correct in there Y2 program. I told them I worked for the bank and was not aware of that program. They hung up in a hurry. I don't work for the bank. I drive a truck, across USA and Canada. If the rumors about fuel shortages are true, I will be off - fishing. At least I will not starve. Catfish, cornbread (hope my chicken don't hear about Y2K and quit laying) and fresh green onions and collards, cooked by propane.. Yum, Yum! Just can't wait for 2000! Flo in Texas
