In Grainger County Deed Book E page 523, Thomas Wade and wife Margaret Wade along with William Wade bought property from E.Renfro,"A lot of about 1 1/4 acres land 9th dist. Grainger County adjoining Hankins on E Refros some 200 yards NW of Red House Depot on the Mc & Grr near where we live. September 20 1895.
