You can get Union county marriages on microfilm from the LDS family history center. (Early ones tell how many years it was since the American Revolution.) Next best thing to being there & getting a real one, because you can have them make a copy of the ones you want. Unfortunately although supposedly the county was started up in 1850 on paper, it didn't get going quite that early in reality, and then marriage records apparently don't start until 1864...perhaps because of the war. I suppose a lot of others on this list have a lot of "black hole" marriages they can't find dates for that would have occurred during that time period.
