Hi Terry, Looking at your email below leads me to think you may live in the northeast corner of Knox County. If, so do you know if the West Fork of Flat Creek and Little Flat Creek are the same? My GGf, John Phillip Sharrits, bought 200 acres there from Christian Foust in about 1818. Three years later he died there. I am trying to locate his grave by locating the property or a cemetery nearby. I can't find the West Fork of Flat Creek.
