    1. Reply and the list
    2. If your mail program does not have the option of reply to all, (or something similar) simply copy and paste their e-mail address from the top of the list mail. Paste it into a new e-mail and write your message. When you click send, it will only go to them. The Union County list was set up to send back to the list (default) on purpose. I feel it is better this way. Many of the people who have been members of the list for some time can report success at finding people searching related families by reading other's genealogy correspondence. Of course I realize that some e-mail would be better if in private and that's why after the initial contact, two parties may feel it's better to correspond one on one. They do this by getting the other person's e-mail address (at the top of all list mail) and replying only to that person. Common courtesy though, would be to ask that person if they mind a one on one conversation. This would be a good time to let all of the new people know about myself. My name is Chip and I am the registered owner of the Union County page and it's mailing list. Any questions, comments or anything else for that matter may be addressed to me personally at Union@tngenweb.org.
