Hi all, Can someone tell me about the cemetery in Union Co. It's name is COOK Cemetery. I have reason to beleive that my gggg grandfather Newton J. Cook was buried there and I have reason to beleive that it was named after him. One more question, I also have reason to beleive that when my ancestors came to TN. from S.C. their was a town named COOKTOWN, i think it was named after them when they settled there, it might before 1850 when Union Co. was formed. The only thing that I know is that when the T.V.A. came in they flooded it and I think it sits right on the Co. line of Union Co. and Grainger Co. Can some one help me to fill in the missing pieces.
