Chip, Thanks for the response. I looked on the USGS topo maps and Flat Creek, it looks like, heads up SW of Mashburn , on the North slope of Clinch Mountain. There are several unmarked branches that run into this creek. It is impossible to tell by current maps which would be the West Fork. John Phillip Sharitz land was in Knox County at the time of purchase if any of this helps.
