I have tried to find my Sexton family in Union county but had no luck at all...Now I am going to try my Lay line...My direct line starts with my grandmother, Nanny Bell Lay who married James Harvey Sexton..Her mother was Sarah Lay {not married} , Sarah's parents were Henry Lay and Parazida Smith, Henry's parents were James Lay and Iris Grant, James' parents were John Michael Lay and Rachel Foley, John's parents were Jesse Lay and Catherine Bradley, Jesse's parents were Jesse Lay and Hannah Lay, Jesse's parents were John Lay and Martha ?.....Does anyone recognize any of these names?
