hi there; i don't usually post anything but i need some help here. my gr gr grandfather was jim (possibly james) caldwell b. ca. 1850, and his wife was josephine warwick b.?. my father keeps telling me that he owned property in union co. and deeded it to his grandchildren, but during the depression of the 1930's, his son traded it with someone for ten years of fresh vegetables and other edibles. apparently he felt that the depression would be over by the time the food arrangement ended. jim's son's name was john lee caldwell, and he married margaret elizabeth foust. it was their children that jim caldwell had deeded the property to to begin with. if anyone could possibly help me with locating a birth record, marriage record, death record....anything........i would greatly appreciate it. many thanks to you all, tina caldwell panico
