Thank you Barbara: I believe that the George you mentioned is the correct one inasmuch as I found George/Milly in the Campbell Co census in 1860. I don't have the 1850 Campbell co census to check there. The evidence that I have for Bratcher being George's son is that in the 1880 Campbell co census, Milly is living with the family and is listed as Bratcher's mother. Evidently, George had died. Now, I just need to find Milly's maiden name and the maiden name of Bratcher's wife Malinda. Bratcher and Malinda were married around 1874 but their marriage doesn't appear in the Campbell, Union, or Anderson co marriage records so I have no idea where they were married. The 1880 census says that Milly was born in KY so maybe Bratcher married somewhere in KY. Thank you again and I will definitely check out the web site. Ron
