This Samuel Cox would perhaps be of an appropriate age to have been the youngest son of Henry Cox/Ann Madison of Blount Co. Henry named a son Samuel in his Will of 1807 which was then probated in 1808. Do you suppose there is a connection here? I do know that Samuel was a common named used among other descendants of Henry Cox of Blount Co.
