Hi folks, My dad often bragged about being from Union County. He was Richard Austin Pierce born Feb. 19, 1910. and is buried in Taylor Grove Cemetery in Sharps Chapel. I am sort of new to this genealogy stuff and I really don't know how to proceed with my search. Any info or help would be appreciated. I would be happy to make any records I happen to find public by posting on this site or others. My dad Richard (Dick) Austin married Charlotte Mossie Beeler and had 4 kids: Pauline, Richard, Delano, and me Stephen. His dad's name was Josh (Joshua?) and his mother's name was Isabelle. I don't know which county they are from, but it might have been Ashland City, TN. Thanks. Steve
