Chip, When I was paying property taxes in Union Co. back in 1995/96, I was told many Union Co. records were lost in a fire. Anyone know whether any pre 1900 records survived? Also heard that the present day records are stored in 2 different places; we discovered that even some of the loan officers don't always know where to look for specific deeds, etc.
