Hello DeAnna, So far the only Shelby I have that I'm sure of is my ggrandmother Frances Jane Shelby who married Lemuel Hill. I've been told her Father was William Shelby and her mother's name was Martha. I've been so busy on the Russells, Turners, Hills and Strevels I haven't had a chance to research the Shelbys and the Savages until now. I've only been doing this less than two years. I can't believe how much information I've accumulated in just the last three or four months. This is my father's family. I wish I could be this lucky on my mother's family. I've run into brick walls on all sides of her family. Of course she isn't from Union County. Everybody I've run into in Union County, whether it be on the web site or in the town of Maynardville have been so nice and willing to help any way they can.I have really found that out while my daughter and I have been doing the cemeteries of Union County. If you know anything about Frances and wouldn't mind sharing it I would be very grateful, and if I find anything that you don't already have I'll be glad to send it to you.
