He was a store owner and was always doing bizarre things to advertise. He buried a man alive in his parking lot once for publicity. One time he gave away chicken at his store. Here was the catch. He stood on the roof of his store and threw live chickens off. If you caught one you got to keep it. As you can imagine the Humane Society was none to pleased with this. Funny they didn't say anything when he buried the guy alive. Later he became the Mayor of Knoxville. During a City Commission meeting he got mad at one of the Commissioners and took him outside for the best two out of three rounds. But oddly enough for all of his lunacy he was a heck of a nice guy.
