My problem was the way it was worded. It was sort of....um...an attack. Patricia said the same thing but was nice about it. Personally I see nothing wrong with what Bill sent and by golly if he apologizes for it he'll hear it from me. Fact is I intend to pass it around the office. Fact is folks, a couple of weeks ago you were saying how quiet the list was. A joke every now and then doesn't hurt anything. If it's crude or offensive I'll deal with it. But if we don't have time for a joke or humorous story, we're really taking life too seriously. One day we may all lie in a hospital bed knowing we only have days to live. Knowing this may be the last night we spend with our families. Thinking back over all the times we dissappointed our parents and friends. Wishing we had done this or hadn't done that. When it comes my time, I figure I'll have a ton of stuff to wish I had done differently. Spending a moment reading a joke or funny story won't be one of them. If it startes becoming a joke list I'll step in. But in fact, there is more genealogy on this list than many others. We talk and discuss. Other lists stay quiet for days on end. Boring! Chip
