Here is some new information from Richard Cottrell Brenda Subject: [TNMONROE-L] RE: USING BATCH NUMBERS TO SEARCH Resent-Date:Tue, 28 Nov 2000 17:26:13 -0800 Resent-From: [email protected] Date: Tue, 28 Nov 2000 19:24:29 -0600 From: "Richard Cottrell" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] In a message posted by Carol: "You don't have to put anything in the name section, just the batch number and region to get all the records in that batch. That way you could look at all the records in that county." This is interesting. And I'm always looking for new thing to try on these batch numbers and especially accessing records via the computer. I gave this a try: I entered the Region 'North America' Then I entered a batch number and clicked the 'Search' tab. Well I got that marriage record starting with surnames beginning with A and ending with surnames beginning with Z. So it works! This is a very useful tip. Thanks a lot for sharing that tip, Carol.
