Allen, I found no info on Davis but in OUR UNION COUNTY FAMILIES page 266 under Seymour Families of Union County in 1870 census is a family headed: Seymour, Fanney, b 1830 ..William b. 1851 ..Christopher C. b. 1855 ..Mary J b. 1857 ..Manervy A. b. 1859 (could this be your Minerva?) ..Margaret L. b. 1861 ..Martha C. b. 1862 This family must have moved into the area after 1860 census because they are not listed in the 1860 section and William b. 1851 is a head of household in 1880 census.
