I am looking for the parents of Mary Jane Beason b.12-25-1863 (source: Our German Pioneers, Shoffners and kin" in Union or Claiborne County Tennessee. (1900 Union Co. Census states Mary Jane was born in June 1861) Mary Jane married James David Shoffner on December 21, 1879 (Union County History. Vol 2 says 1977.) Mary Jane's parents according to the book "Our German Pioneers Shoffners and Kin" by Sonja Collins, were William Beason and Elizabeth Keck.
