According to TVA records, an unidentified Woods is buried in the same grave, also no stone, if that gives you any sort of clue. The last time I was at Big Barren Cemetery, it was well-maintained, but some of the stones are very old and hard to read. You can order the original record from TVA, and you'll find out at least who the closest relative was who authorized the move. That, too, may give you a clue. He should be able to pin point the exact location of the grave. Concerning the TVA Norris Projett, a member of the UCCA told me recently the TVA Grave Removal Records were also available at one of the Univ. of TN. libraries on campus in Knoxville. This is not the McClung Library. You would need to have the cemetery they were disinterred from to access the record. The TVA list has the removal date of 1935. Samuel was my 4th great grandfather. I was just really hoping to find either or both of their graves. Their deaths are written in Samuel's bible but no location is mentioned. I would like to visit the Lone Mountain area and check the cemeteries. I would tell you to contact me on face book, but I don't go on it very often. I HATE people writing on my WALL, when I ask them to send me a private message on there. I don't even bother looking at the wall, as I get on so seldom there are at least 1000 messages there, none of them worth reading. One was on Yahoo, two on aol., and 2 on Hotmail. I do not find them on the 1880, but Nancy, widow, is on the 1900 in Union Co. She says she has had 8 children,5 living. She and J. I just wasn't thinking. Anderson, Knox and Union Co meet at one point. I don't know how much of what was used to create Union but you have to check all three counties when you are working there. I pulled Alis Brock up on the 1880 in the Knox census and w0w! Duh!
